On December 1st both teams expected one or the other would be facing Ohio State for the championship. Now they face each other in a very intriguing match-up. Michigan is a slight favorite in Vegas, but USC is actually winning over 50% of simulations. The Michigan defense will make rushing the ball tough. USC's Chauncey Washington and CJ Gable are both running for just 3.3 yds per carry. Mike Hart is rushing for over 4 ypc for Michigan. However, John David Booty is forecasted for slightly better production than Chad Henne. Both teams have supremely talented receivers but USC is getting the slight edge behind Steve Smith and Dwayne Jarrett.
